In fact, the Bible is a collection of 66 separate books – 39 books in the Old Testament, and 27 books in the New Testament. These books are ancient manuscripts of different writing styles, including narratives, poems, songs, and speeches, in forms ranging from letters to laws. They were originally written in Hebrew and Greek, but have since been translated into many languages.

Although God is not something to be contained and limited by our understanding of His ways, one of the ways that God speaks to us is through His words, which are explained by of the writer of Hebrews as “alive” (Hebrews 4:12).
In 2 Timothy, the Apostle Paul told his disciple, Timothy, “All Scripture is God-breathed”. A more simple translation is “created by God” (2 Timothy 3:16, NLT).

Start with one of the four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) in the Bible. They teach about Jesus’ life and teachings in this world, and our faith is based on Jesus Christ, who is God himself who “came as a man and lived with us” (John 1:14 ).
The Gospel of John is a good place to start because it was “written to help you believe that Jesus is the Messiah…and that by believing you will have life in his name.” (John 20:31).
Jesus is not only the Messiah, He is also the Son of God who gives eternal life to all who believe in His name. We see this fact from the signs and miracles He did, and seven times He answered “I am” when people asked Him.

Introduction to the book: In the book of Ephesians, we see how the story of the Gospel affects the daily life of Christians. God, the Father, has planned throughout history for Jesus to create many nations of disciples. Including Jews and non-Jews, these disciples form the “family” God promised to Abraham. They are united as one body in their families, communities, and churches because of God’s grace.
In the Old Testament, Genesis, which means “sign”, is the beginning as well. Reading this description of the beginning of the world, how sin came to be and how it affects the world, gives us the context to begin to understand the content of the New Testament.
How To Study The Bible
Introduction to the book: The book of Genesis tells us how everything started from human history to become the world we know today. It reveals the message of God’s love for us, the suffering of sin and the human race, and God has begun a bright plan to win us back from the crash of darkness. sky

These descendants will become the foundation for the nation of Israel and Jesus the Messiah, who brings salvation to people.
This poetry book is a great place to find inspiration. In it, you can find the whole spectrum of human feelings expressed in songs and poems to God. Find comfort in knowing that God approves of your thoughts and has taught an important part of His Word. In general, many find comfort in praying through the Psalms.
Read The Bible In A Year
Introduction to the book: Part of the first five books of the Old Testament, the Book of Psalms is a wonderful collection of poems by David, Moses, and other Jewish writers. From the Psalms, we learn the importance of prayer and acceptance of pain, as well as the power of praise and the fulfillment of prophecy.
